Emma Watson "still learning" how to survive the red carpet!

“The up coming Harry Potter sequel” actress Emma Watson caused a stir at a recent event for the latest wizard flick when a gust of wind blew up her skirt, exposing the young star’s skivvies.

But much like her onscreen alter-ego Hermione Granger – Watson is staying calm and collected over the Marilyn Monroe-esque incident.

“At least I’m wearing underwear,” she said in an appearance on the “Late Show with David Letterman.”

And it’s not a bad retort considering the number of young Hollywood starlets who have been photographed sans such undergarments.

Watson, 19, recounted the event and told Letterman she’s "still learning" how to survive the red carpet.

She’s just relieved the incident wasn’t any worse, calling her runaway skirt, "a small wardrobe malfunction that happens."
